Happy Halloween!
Oct. 31st, 2008 04:32 pmHappy Halloween, everyone!
My newest story, "Billy and the Ghosts," is part of the Halloween Sip blitz over at Torquere Press.
Kissing the gravestone of a Virginia City madam at midnight on Halloween shouldn't be such a big deal, right? Sure, Billy would rather be kissing Jeff, but Jeff is totally out of his league. Will Billy find the courage to steal a moonlight kiss from the guy of his dreams? Or will Billy need a little help from the residents of Boothill Cemetery to land his guy?
And a little snippet under the cut:
It was disconcerting looking at Louis wearing Jeff's face. Louis' hair was longer than Jeff's; it brushed his shoulders where Jeff's barely touched his ears. From his expression, Louis looked like a man who rarely took life seriously. Until tonight, Billy had never seen Jeff at play.
"You look like someone I know," Billy said.
"Someone you fancy, I bet." Louis shifted a little so that Billy could see the prominent bulge in his trousers. "Does that someone fancy you, darlin'?"
It was a very prominent bulge.
Billy swallowed. "I... I don't know. I hope so."
Louis pulled Billy's hand into his lap so that he could touch Louis' very, very prominent bulge. "Well, then... why don't we pretend that I'm him. Just for a little while."
The story's available here, cost is $1.29.
Happy reading!
