For an anthology to be published by Cleis Press in 2008, Richard Labonte, editor of the Best Gay Erotica series - as well as of Country Boys, Where the Boys Are, Hot Gay Erotica, and Best Gay Romance 2008, and co-editor of The Future is Queer - is looking for original or reprint short stories focusing on the ties that bind: that is, erotic fiction all about bondage. Stories can incorporate any form of sex play, from lovers in bed getting naughty with silk ties to wrestlers hogtied when they lose a match to extreme knotty kink - but bondage must be present.
Preferred length: 2,000-5,000 words. Meritorious shorter or longer work will be considered. Please enclose a 75-word bio, and - if the work is a reprint - information on where and when it has appeared.
